| No you do not have to split the frames to replace the bearings. Just loosen the frame bolts neear the bearings and they will drop out. Glueing them in the frames just adds a little more friction to the equation. The glue let go on mine sometime ago. No probs to date. In fact I wore out mainshaft bearings and replaced those just recently. I also replaced the clutch bell top bearing, no glue. I did glue initially, but that did not hold. No adverse effeects.
