I have just installed a GV-1 in a Raptor. I am running a Futaba Super 8 and I ran out of channels on the receiver to plug in the rx battery pack. The question I have is, is it ok or advisable to plug the rx battery pack into use the mixing servo input connector on the GV-1? I have it installed that way and everything checks out but it kind of worries me that the battery pack is not connected directly into the receiver. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

I would ask the Futaba repair technicians what their recommendation would be. My concern would be that the entire electrical load would in that case be going through the contacts and leads internal to the GV. I would not think that it was designed to take that load. All servos in operation can draw an appreciable current, especially high speed tail servos.
