WHAT IS A GOOD FLYBAR PADDLE FOR 3D? JUST GETTING IN TO TUMBLING. SEEMS REALLY SLOW. MAYBE ITS PILOT TECHIQUE.....

Same question.

Has anyone gone from the stock white Fury paddles to the V-paddles. Do they speed the tumbles and flips up very much?

Comparing a Raptor 30 with KSJ paddles to the Fury. The Raptor flips like crazy, the Fury is sort of slow and lazy. I would like to get the Fury closer to the Raptor, but realize that it is a larger machine.

Any suggestions?

The Fury with the white paddles is extremely quick.
It all depends on what your swashplate deflection is but there is a way to make it even quicker. Just switch the ball location in the mixer arm to the 1:1.3 ratio or 3D one and you'll see how it gets extremely quick. Check the picture below for a diagram. I tried that and had to go back to the normal mode.

Check your cyclic pitch. Make sure elevator and aileron have 6 or 7 degrees pitch.I had to adjust the ele. and ail. in the swash menu to 70% to get the correct throws.

since u r now tumbling maybe U should set ur heli up a little more aggressively like the 3d ratio....but if u'r scared just say so

I have the stock paddles with no weights and 20% expo. I get complements on how smooth the heli is and how gracefull the roll rate is, but yet it still has a fast enough cyclic to pull off some pretty quick kaos'. Those V-Paddles seem very nice and look really good. I might try those later on.
