| That's probably a better way to go Dave, since you have the capabilities to do it. That way you can make sure you get all of the features you want. I found one that did a lot, but was $600 and the software didn't look so hot. They have some nice do-it-all microchips out these days as well. PICs or the Atmel AVR series, with up to 8 AtoD ports, tons of I/O ports, hardware pulse width modulation are fun to play with and almost too easy. Spend some time coding, dorking around with formulas, incorporate some mosfets and passive components and your set.
