What is everyone doing to make the HS-65MG to fit the Mini Titan? On the kit it's narrow by couple millimeters.

Used a dremmel and opened up the mounting plates. Its a bit tricky to get the dremmel at the right angle, so take it steady

For the aileron and pitch - will I need to improvise in a spacer? I think the 65MG is a tad long.

Add standoffs to move the servos away from the brackets. Aligns the pushrods properly, and saves from having to notch the frame.

Here is a photo of how I did it.

standoffs

@ RMG2,
That looks nice, where did you find those standoffs, or did you make them out of something?

Based on his picture, I made a set using Futaba servo arms.

Ka0T1k, I made those spacers out of a 2mm thick plastic mud flap I had saved in my "junk box" out in the garage.

Is there any other servos that need no modification?

hs 56's drop in,no mods and no spacers and everything lines up perfect, been using them in my MT for a year and a half and in my SE also, plenty of torque and speed just not metal gear.but I posed on this many times.i feel on a MT its not a big deal,as gears can be changed in a few min

I took off the servo mounts put them in a vice and slowly and lightly file them with a flat file. Keep checking them so you dont over file them. Ive got the alloy sevo mounts. No spacers needed much stiffer too. Worked out good for me.

Cheers bboyy

the hs 56's are the exact same price as hs 65 hb's,and about 10 bucks cheaper than the 65mg

the 56's are slightly faster with less torque
