| I also have a problem with my size on sport bikes, i am 6'2 and there is only 2 600 cc bikes that i fit on and i am picking one of them up on saturday. The F4i and The R6 are the only bikes in the class i can fit on, you should try those out.

I have to agree with you about the Hondas being a more comfortable bike. I prefer a liter-class machine myself, but I've ridden a CBR600-F3 and it wasn't too bad. The CBR900's and even the newer 929 and 954RR's are fairly comfortable if I stretch before I ride. I've never ridden an R1 or R6, but they seem to be smaller than the CBR's. I might stop by the dealer and sit on one and see how it feels, as I really do like the Yamaha YZF-R1's style and appearance. My gripe is that I like the Gixxers (the GSX-R 1000 specifically) the best of all, but there is just no way in hell I cram myself onto one for more than a few minutes at a time.
Right now I'm thinking about saving for a used bike to commute with and ride around on the weekends, as I really can't afford a new one anytime soon...but I can dream!
Anyway, bask to the topic at hand...
I don't see why people insist on dumping a ton of money into a stinkin' Civic anyway. I agree with TurboRacer at least insomuch as I believe there are much better Jap cars out there to hot rod. The Eclipse is one, or an RX-7, a 3000GT Twin Turbo, Supra Twin Turbo (if you can find one), the new RX-8's, etc...
The Civic is nothing more than an glorified econobox to me.
