Hi, Well im on my 2nd day with my Hummingbird and I love it.
I busted one blade yesterday but i replaced with the Picolo blade and it works even better then the old ones they seems stiffer and a bit bigger.

My question is: When It takes off as soon as it leaves the groud the heli has a tendency to drift to the right (heli nose facing me) and backwards.
I have to apply left aileron and forward elevator to compesate. is there a way to trim it so it will lift straight up...?

I have noticed that with my gas heli as well as my HB. I think it is normal.

All heli's with a CW rotating main rotor will naturally drift left (viewed from the tail) on lift off. Not a problem and once out of ground effect it goes away. Don't worry about trimming it out. Just be ready with the roll(aileron) control to counter it on lift off.

BTW, if you are lifting off with the "nose in" you probably didn't need these answers,

Thank you the replies..! Thank you Boyd for clearing the drifting issue.
Quick question: I know you are using a Graupner speed 300 on your Hummingbird i read this on your previous post. I went out today and bought one, should I keep the same pinion as in the old motor? or should I get a 10T pinion for the Speed 300?
I added the diodes to the tail motor too! (Thank you for the sugestion),,

Hey Chris. A 10t pinion is working well on mine. Should do the trick. Be sure to set the lash with enough clearance between the motor pinion and main shaft spur gear so that things rotate smoothly with no binding anywhere on a full revolution of the spur. This will allow everything to work in concert allowing greater flight durations and longer motor life.
