Dedication, deep pockets, big balls and a fully functioning bull**** detector. Little helicopters and good video are the rarest of bedfellows, trust me on this one.

People make their own luck it doesnt just drop from the sky, only your heli does that if your luck runs out.

License no, full compliance required to fly by monitor (requires UAV compliance and radio navigation ability of UAV operator)
Flown by line of sight from ground contact see: sport and hobby aircraft regulations, no license or compliance required.
Laws to abide by so get the regs relevant to your country / region and read them.
