I voted Good because that's how their service has been for me. You can do a search on my posts with "century" and you'll see the "how".

Sorry for not calling bad timing for me. It’s the wrong time of year for Model Helicopters.. During most of the Summer months Its time for me to be out Sailing and working Ham Radio.. Time to inspect the antenna farm.. No Fun Climbing 100+ foot Antenna towers but some one’s got to do it the antennas, feed line & guide wires need inspecting Don’t want it to come down in a wind storm. We even hired a full scale helli to lift a yagi to the top of one of my towers. it's 150 foot..and dam scary looking down. we did not feel much like being up there long so we took the easy way out and Hired a heli to lift it to the top Anyhow I will give you a call next week and we will see if we can iron out the wrinkles in the mess

Century service

I have had generally good service from Heli World, but this last Friday I called and asked that they sell me a couple cases of fuel and bring it out to the Bayside Fun Fly. The reply from the gentleman I talked with was "we don't usually do that". Well, I knew they were going to be there anyway, the FF is only about 1 mile from their store, and Century is the major sponsor of the event. I also asked for a Stylus transmitter heli card. The reply I got here was "WHAT? we don't got nuttin' like that". I explained what it was and there was no interest to see if they could get me one. Sunday I went to the FF and sure enough Peter and Andrew were there with a number of helis, but no fuel. When I asked they replied they weren't selling and the store is closed.
I live about 150 miles away and have no desire to drive another 300 mile round trip during the week when they are open to pick up some fuel. On Monday I called Rick's and they were happy to ship me some.
Payton, you can call this good service or bad, but the experience didn't do anything to convince me that I should spend more money there. I tried to spend $300.00, and yes it would have required a call to Airtronics for the Tx card and loading a couple of cases of fuel in the van along with the helis they were already bringing, but they weren't interested. I've bought two new 60 size helis from them and a number of orders for parts over the years and the service has typically been good, but when I see repeated threads like this one I tend to turn elsewhere. Steve.

Payton >> I'm not the bad guy

Wow!

I’m not going to start this mess up again. Its really simple I felt no obligation to go out of my way and call right away… Bottom line. They made me wait a year and a half. And I would say it safe to wager that the only reason they are willing to help now is because I made a big stink about it… and that so many people are waching.

I am tired of being made to feel like the bad guy in this situation. I AM THE CUSTOMER . They are the vendor it is there responsibility to see that there customers are happy! If they fail to understand that simple concept of doing business in America they will fail at doing business in America
END OF STORY !!
