| I really like the way the Pic Pro flys. To me it is extreamly easy to fly, has a lot of cyclic authority out of the box, and you only really need an aluminum shaft collar to added to the kit(to make sure the main shaft stays in place, I still dont know what Ikarus was thinking when they put that plastic sleve in the kit ). Oh, one other thing, for the Pro to fly really well you have to put in good electronics which include a brushless motor, controller, HH gyro(like GY240 or JR 410), and Lithium Polymer(Etech 1200mah 3 cell packs) batteries. Putting good electronics in this chopper will make it fly like a bat out of hell for about 10 to 12 mins.
To me the repair cost are very reasonable. Usually the only thing that breaks is the landing gear but sometimes the slider, and the plastic hub. In hard landings you can break the head and the blades but you have to crash pretty hard. Over all the repair bill for my chopper has only been 40 buck and I have about 200 flights on it, and yes I have crash and tipped it over may time But when I know Im screwed I just chop the power.
