Hi All,

I have a short question about my 401 and 9253:
Does it matter if i switch the power of my rappy on when my TX is in Normal gyromode or HH?
When i turn the Heli on with HH on and give rudder input i see double flashes on the gyrocase, but when i turn the heli on in Normal and then switch to HH and give rudder input the gyro doesnt flash.
Is that OK?
I only fly in HH...

Thanks,
Raptor30.

The 401 MUST be turned on in Heading Hold mode even if you want to fly in Normal mode. Since I only fly in HH this is a non-issue for me.

ok here is the start up procedure for GY 401

1. Turn on your TX make sure you are in HH mode
2. Turn on your Heli the Gyro will flash several times and the light will be ON steady you have now centered your gyro
3. fly Now you can switch between HH non HH

GY-401 MUST be initialized in HH mode AFTER it initialized and centered you can switch between modes

hope this helps

raptor30,

You should turn on the heli in HH mode for the GY401. Once it initializes the light should be on. I checked mine and it does blink twice in HH mode with any rudder input. Mine has worked flawlessly.

I fly in normal mode

I turn my 401's ON in any mode they happen to be in and they have ALWAYS work flawlessly. All 5 on them!
I like to fly in normal mode better for smooth circuits but I can see it'll be better in HH for stunts as I did my first loops and rolls in normal mode today. Great feeling it IS

A while ago i read somewhere that you should set the rudder ATV's to 140 % and check if it doesnt bind!
the manual says to have them at 100 %,any suggestions???

Thanks,
