I recently added a BEC to my HBK2 and accidentally put the polarity to the receiver backwards Is this going to ruin the receiver???

I have tried to test and all seems to work fine on the bench. however after a few seconds in the air it loses tail authority and starts to rotate left.
I also stepped up the pinion to 11TH with this last rebuild. I use to feel comfortable flying this bird now I'm panicky as soon as it leaves
mother earth.

You may need more gain with the higher head speed.

did you setup the gyro after the step up in pinion? Moving the servo up and down the boom?
