definitely not good enough for flying cam, but I've had a few landing zones as tight as that. I don't drink any caffeine before

Rhett... I can't fly, luckily the HC Profi Can!

not sure what skills are required, but I've flown through much smaller openings. Very cool commerical. Still can't figure out why they still use nitro. Must know something we don't know.

Smoke and mirrors, those are the settings you want.

Good stuff!

We need more video posts here. Tech questions are boring stuff.
Post it up!

That was great, I love the way he brought the heli back nose in, spun it around and set it down in one Liquid Smooth motion.
Yea, I would say that guy has some wicked smooth skills.

They designed their own flight stablization system.

Flying-Cam has developed an advanced autopilot control system that simplifies remote helicopter control and enables better image stability.

"We developed a sophisticated autopilot control system with MathWorks tools that enables novices to perform basic flight with only minutes of training and allows our skilled pilots to perform extremely difficult maneuvers," explains Dr. Marco La Civita, developer and director of technology innovation at Flying-Cam.

It was nice flying, but I am sure that helps

Fly in tight areas along with wide open fields and you can fly like that. All about logging them hours.

That's Emmanuel the owner of flying cam. I think he could have been a brain surgion. Very steady hands.

I believe that you have to sign a non-compete clause before working for FlyingCam. So anything you did on your own could not be for hire or compensation. But the question is could they give you enough work to pay the bills without supplemental income.

"It's not impossible. I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home."
...they're not much bigger than two meters... :-)

Cheers,
Jeff

I'm assuming all the guys they use either work full time for them, or are just great rc pilots ( but not ap guys).

That gap isn't so small ....

Here's a little video I made a while back for a presentation I gave at my local photography club:

http://www.vimeo.com/1793475

I knocked that together quite quickly but it gives you an idea of the stability of my heli

Would love to get into video but never seem to have the time to redesign my mount for it

Great video, thanks for posting it!
