Real flying sport - meeting surf sport

Very impressive and super interesting.
Yes, fits any of the gigant magazines.

How far out from your starting point is the heli?
I´m totally lost on distances with these panos.
Nikkor 7,5 mm or what??

Actually I'm not that impressed with your image Tabb.

Maui = Chicks = Hot Girls Thread

Nice work...I was already impressed with all your other images . But please, where are images of girls?

BTW, you've got BIG BALLS to get THAT shot! Nice!

Thanks for all the comments guys!

Pery, I was probably 1000 feet or so out from my takeoff place. Maybe a bit more or less.

this was shot with the Canon 15mm lens.

Dakine, I will try and get some hot girls next time for you

Tanner, glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comments. Not sure if it is guts or just plain stupidity

JohnC, I had my Gf on crowd control duty. Hard to concentrate with folks asking 101 questions. The best was when one guy yells out "hey you should put a camera on that thing"

Rerazor, coerced my GF into taking some behind the scenes photos.

Lele, Post on this one was around 2 hours or so total. But I tend to work slow and take my time. I hate having to come back and fix mistakes.

I was thinking... you must have big brass ones to be flying 1000' out over the water. Then I considered the surfers! A built in retreval service. Very smart! And, even if it sank to the bottom (better close to the beach vs. open ocean or deep lake) it's a shallow dive with out without scuba.

Nice work!
