e-Ikarus Piccolo-Eco 8/16 > Number of cells on Eco 8?

Been flying my Eco 8 and have tried 8 and 10 cells, thinking of trying 12. Been a little disappointed with the aerobatic performance on 10 cells 24 tooth pinion, and Jeti 30/3 brushless setup.

What are you guys flying?

Son, before you can soar with the eagles you have to learn to sh** with the chickens

Just sold my ECO 8 that was running 10 2.4AH NiCd cells, Aveox 1010/3 and Kontonik 25-6-12 controler (don't remeber the pinion). A rather powerless setup (to my taste) - flight times were about 10minutes - but aerobatics were very limitted.
I learned to fly heli's on the ECO - but that's it. Moved to a Freya (what
a change!!) and am doing aerobatics with the Freya

I fly a Hacker B50-15L fed by a Schulze18.46k with a UBEC on 10 CP2400s and a 16t pinion. Get around 10 minutes of really impressive power. Climbouts are stunning. No lack of power here.
