Alright, got a new RTF Logo 10 from Wes at Modefo's. The heli has a big ass Hacker motor in it and a shultze esc. 6s TP battery. Here's the thing, I test hovered it, and at 45% throttle in a hover the thing sounds like an angry vacuum. I talked to him and he said I need a lower mod gear. He still hasn't replied to the PM yet so what does that mean?

OK never mind I think I figured it out. The esc is in governor mode.

He's refering to a finer pitch gear. They are quieter but less durable. I run .5 mod gears (stock) and mine is super quiet but they do strip easy if you aren't careful. Your's probably has the .07 mod gears from the logo 14. This is a good mod if you are running a lot of power or just want a more durable gear. They are noisier though. If your gear mesh is not right it may also make more noise so check that. There is really no reason to change the gears unless you just want it quieter.

My buddy's Swift 550 carbon has .1 mod gears and they are considerably noisier than my logo. Do check and make sure everything spins nice and free though just to be safe.
