Hey I am having a bit of trouble with my new 611 for some reson I can get the screen to come on and I think that I have the plugs in the right channels I am useing a 9303 with a AR 7100R reciver and I am pluging into channel Rudder and Aux 2, However the servo is not coming on, not just signal but no power as well, I can manualy move the servo back and forth with my finger. I purchased this gyro from a gentelman in new york used. He says that it is practicly new and it looks like it is. this is my first 611 and I am not familair with this gyro at all and it appears to be fairly complex . I am just currious if anyone else has encountered this trouble aswell.

Make sure you are using a 9251 or 9256. It won't work with any other servo.

when looking at the amp, check the servo, white signal wire is nearest to you, not like the other two wires [rud and gain] wich have the black nearest to you. ive seen this a few times at are club.
hope this helps derek

Are you using an extension to the servo by any chance?

I'm having a similar problem with mine, it will power up on 5.1 volts but when I go to 6 volts with a stepdown the amp will not power up. If I unplug the sensor the amp powers up at 6 volts just fine. Servo is 251 and is brand new so no problems there.

Where are you putting the step down? It should be between the amp and the servo.

It is between the servo and the gyro where it belongs. It's gotta be something with the sensor. I don't think the gyro ever held the tail like it should.
