Still have the question...

I have a Pro 30 and am wondering how far out on the servo arms you guys are putting the ball ends? (mm)

I'm not getting the amount of pitch I would like to see.

I know the instructions make a point of 20mm but when I look at the nice blue arms that HHI sold me, they are in no way that long?

How far are the balls on your servo arms out from the center?

Hi Jim I have a quick 30 with HHI servo arms I'm using the outer most hole which is 18 mm from the centre point. This is giving me the required pitch range eg -9+12 . If this is not giving you anough ,try increasing the travel adjust function in the swash mixing mode. This is with a JR radio should have same type of fuctions on what ever radio you have.Like to here how it all goes.

I noticed that when I go out farther than 15mm, the control rods are not perpendictular to the servo travel? Does this create some wierd interaction in the swash?

Right now I am at 15mm. I had to modify a few link distances to get the throw I needed.
