I am gonna build a T-Rex 700 Nitro Pro this winter and was wondering what I should use for the gyro/servo. I am putting JR 8717's on my cyclics. I do some aerobatics and tic tocs and funnels. Not a hardcore 3D flier yet, but I am getting there. Just wanted to know the best Gyro/Servo combo I should use in the T-Rex 700. Thanks.

"Best" is a matter of opionion

The top gyros are probably the 611/BLS251 or 611/9256
Spartan with either of those servos
or the Solid-G with either of those servos

But....there's lots of really good gyros and only the better pilots can tell the subtle differences.

What he said

Personally I would stay away from the 611, 601... both the spartan and the solid-g surpass them.

Between the latter two... oh well, I would say spartan but I'm obviously biased so do your search and choose the one that seems to suit you. If you have other CY products you can use the G-view I think so that would be a benefit. If you want something super light and tiny, the spartan may suit you better.

Just do a search before we start another SG vs Spartan war

any of the listed above work better then most of us will ever need. most of the time its all how good you can get it setup. ive seen people fly 401 really hard and make it hold. i had the jr 770 which is suppose to be better then the 611. my 611 for me is better for my flying style. i like futaba as you plug it in and fly. other gyros usualy need some tuning. it really is all up to you. dont ask us we will all tell you the same
