Miniature Aircraft Nitro/Gas Helicopters > T&T Engineering stuff ?

Does anyone know where I can see some of the items that T&T engineering has made for the Xcell over the years? Ron Lund has a lot of their stuff listed, but no pictures and really vague descriptions.

Some of the things I am interested in just by the description, but still, I at least need to confirm what the item IS before I type in the Visa #.

I have e-mailed Ron, but I am doubtful that he can take pictures of all of the stuff any time soon.

Does T&T have a web site?

Thanks

I understand your wanting to see pix. But I can say that every T&T product I've had was excellent. They should have been, seeing how much they cost.

They used to make a set-up fixture for the X-Cell standard head. I had one, and sold it with my first X-Cell. Wish I had it back; naturally, they don't make it any more.

They made what is, IMO, the absolute best flybar paddle gauge yet. I've still got those, and they aren't for sale at any price; and, of course, they are discontinued.

Call them. They used to have a rudimentary catalog. The photos weren't the best, but you could get an idea of what you are buying.

And let us know what you find out...

Steve,

You can duplicate that XCell setup fixture by using a std.
XL washout base and thread two XL ball links into it and add
2 precisely measured rods w/ links.

That will assure that the flybar arms are exactly matched for angle/droop.

T&T parts pics.

The owner of T&T flies at my local field. In fact he asked me to try a set of his metal main and tail blade grips on my Fury 91. He's thinking of brining them back to the market. I'll ask him if he has any pictures of the items your interested in. By the way, I once owned an X-Cell with ALL the T&T upgrades. The quality was top notch and many were better than MA was producing at the time. If you purchase anything from T&T you won't be dissapointd.

PICs?

I am sure that the quality is there, but I always like to see stuff.

I in particular would like to see what they have for the tail linkage.

RonLund has a listing for what seems to be a tail bellcrank, but the description is not exactly clear. Even if there was a hand sketch or picture, it would confirm what it is exactly, and I can get one.

They seem to have SO many goodies, I would like to see what they have - and compare to what MA has to offer.

If someone has the old catalog: could you scan it and e-mail it to me?

That would be awesome if you could do that!

Thanks

I will second all of the above, In fact I just dusted off my Works1 and installed an OS91 and GY601.

I sure hope he starts making parts again, I have quite a collection but like Steve would not part with at any price.
