| I used to clean my aero engines with a 50/50 mix of automatic transmission fluid and petrol after each run to remove any corrosive deposits from burnt fuel.
This was easy to inject into the engine after each days flying through the venturi.
I now have to remove the inlet pipe to the carb to achieve the same on my heli engine. |
