i have try several motors, scorpions, plettemberg, actros, tango, hacker. and i can tell you that the only one that still in my 600 is the scorpion, i change the bearing for a ceramics berings and so far i am impress with the motor, for the ESC i prefer the power jazz no need of modification for heat sinks, batteries there is nothing better than the outrage i use 5000mah but also have some 4200 but i prefer the feel that i have with the extra weigth of the 5000mah but thats just personal preference

sorry for my english

Jag, thanks for your opinion.
Between the Scorpion 630kv and the 560kv is there a lot difference in which power concern?

Hi Mario,
Definitely scorpions/outrage is the ticket
How many mins can you get from the Outrage 5000 ?? And why you like the feel of the xtra weight? I was just wondering if this pack ain't quite of heavy for this machine. And please let me know the flight time both packs.

Thanks

Alex i get 7 minutes of mild 3d and 5 minutes of really hard 3d, with a 16T pinion, i get very low temps, in a 30C day in Armenia (Hotter than bogota) i get 38C from the pack and the ESC and 46C in the motor in a 5 minutes fligth. i also pull 3500 mah from the packs only so i have a 500 mah save zone if i get very stick banger. also in a 18C days in bogota i don't even get to warm a little the packs or the ESC but the motor gets to 51C don't ask me why but guess that less air even if is cooler don't cool very well the motor.
i like the extra weigth because the heli gain some inertia and i don't really noticed any lose of power and still getting good autorotations from the radix 600, i do think the heli fly better for my taste and helpme during some transitions, even few day ago i tried 700m blades but i think that less than 4.0 kg for those blades was to ligth the heli doesn't feel rigth.
guess that with all that power last of my worries is the weigth

sorry for my english

Mario,
thanks for the explanation. I guess I will listen to you and will go with this setup.
Regarding the Binacional event, I assisted last year and had a lot of fun and met very nice ppls (including you) too, really had great time. Unfortunally I'm having some problem with my car so can't be sure if I can go this year. But I will see what can I do, as I'm very sure this year is gonna be much greater I will let you know.

Best Regards
Alex Fong.
