Flying today I noticed the cyclics felt "notchy", almost like a lock-out. Checking things over I noticed that the heim ball on the swashplate was binding. The only change was the outside temps were in the 80's F and today only in the upper 50's. I warmed the swashplate in the oven and it loosened up temporarily. Once it cooled back down it started binding again. Anyone ever see this before? I guess I need a new swash.

I have heard that you can put a bolt through the swash, lock the swash with a nut and chuck it up in a drill. If you spin it up it might loosen up. You may put some polishing compound on the ball when you spin it up if it still doesn't loosen up. I would start with a low speed so you don't melt the ball joint. It's worth a shot you can't mess it up any worse than it is now.

It is the M2364 metal CCPM swash. I just tried the bolt suggestion but no luck. New one on the way.
