martinhung Senior Heliman Location: Hong Kong
| I have just built up my new sceadu and I am going to setting it by myself.
The previous heli was setted by my instructor and I have no idea at all.
But this time, I would like to do it by myself. I will be much more better and benefit for my flying.
Firstly, after installing my servo (Fut S9252 into Aileron and Elevator) and setting them to center or horizon accroding to manual by sub trim. Then set the ATV to 100%. After that, do I need to set the low end and high end ATV? Because, when increasing the ATV in high end or decreasing ATV in low end, I still adjust the rod further. After changing ATV 15% more, the push rods reach limit and no more movement for the mechanism even increasing further ATV. So, do I need to adjust the ATV for high or low end until the push rods reach their limit or I just set the ATV to 100%?
Furthermore, by setting up the throttle servo, I know I have to set it when the engine is fully open (or close) when the stick is fully upward (or downward) and the engine is at the middle when the stick is at the middle. Does these mean I have to sub trim the servo for the middle point and adjust ATV for open and close? If I do so, the ATV for throttle is no longer 100% Am I right?
By setting up the pitch servo, at the normal mode, firstly set up the sub trim until the swash is horizon. Then do I need to set the servo as much as the push rod can rearch. i.e. the max positive pitch and max negetive pitch. After that, I have to adjust the pitch curve for each mode until I get the pitch point for each mode.
