The 3s1p 2200Mah are on sale for 19.99 at hobbycity. I can't wait to get them, I'm sick of this ACEPOWER pos that I have. It needs balanced like every 3 flights and only have around 15 flights on it.

I always balance my batts. Do it and they will last longer. Why charge without balancing anyway? It's not like it's more difficult or anything. Anyways... I have a couple of those Zippys and they aren't bad at all. Especially when you consider the price of them. I think they are a great value.

I've been flying the 3S 2200MAH 20C Zippies for some time now and I love them! No puffing and good power!

Well when I first got my heli I had the crap acerc charger that didn't balance batteries. My flightpower battery is never out of balance. I do balance the batteries every time I charge them but the acepower is the only one that actually needs it. I'll be glad to have more than 2 batteries.

I see that a lot of folks are using Zippy batteries – I may have to give them a try. What type of balance connectors do they have?

Thanks – that’s my favorite connector arrangement so I will probably give them a try. Is there a US distributor for Zippy batteries?

They say on their site that some of the items are warehoused in the USA. So check what the listing says. TimT

thats my concern, as I've been dying to try some of these, even though I'm a rep for another battery company,I'd like to check out the competetion to see what they are all about,as the price/performance seems to be there, but i've heard serious horror stories about shipping, and it really worries me

The old Loong Max batteries are rebadged as GForce and sold from Value Hobby. The Zippy batteries do not have the spacers between the individual cells like the Loong Max/GForce. I fly both and so far both are doing well with the Loong Max/GForce being older. As mentioned above, the Loong Max/GForce are much heavier.

my zippys have the spacers mate and look like they were built exactly the same to me only change was the weight and the sticker, maybe ther is just one group of makers making the packs and calling them what they like before shipping? dunno why the name keeps changing maybe trying to keep us on the hop? lol think im gonna have to go google your pack and see

I have a few zippys that are all going pretty strong. I use the 6s 3300s in my 500 and have no complaints, got some smaller ones for a few foamies and you just can't go wrong for the price on those.

Never came across any issues with HobbyCity (so far) on the net.
As for the zippies, sounds too good to let pass. Will surely try them.
