Gasser Model RC Helicopters > Muffler coming loose on 231PUH

I know this has been discussed before but I can't find it. I have a Hatori muffler mounted to a Zenoha 231PUH and continually have problems with it coming loose after a few flights. Sometimes the muffler bolts, sometimes the steel adapter plate bolts. I don't think loctite will work at these temps.
Any suggestions..

Thanks
Paul

muffler

What I've found works for me is "#1 permatex". Not the silicone type but the old black thick stuff. #1 sets up hard. Coat both the male and female threads, retighten after each flight, usually after three flights they wont come loose anymore.

"#1 permatex".

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I have some of that around here somewhere. When I removed the muffler and adapter plate I found the lock washers were really flat, so I'll also put on new lockwashers in addition to the #1 Permatex..
