Fyin my R50 this past weekend and when I switched over to T Hold the Gov would not disengage in Idle 1 or 2.

With the gov switched off T Hold functioned normally..

Any Ideas or just a busted Gov..??

Thanx for your input.

Create a program mix to tell the gov to turn off when T hold is activated? The mix goes to the gov on/off lead.

Is the stick switch feature activated in the GV1? Basically this tells the governor to follow the throttle position, i.e. on when throttle above about 25%, off when below (as when in normal or throttle hold mode). if this is not activated then you have to set a mix to tell the GV1 to go to 'off' during throttle hold. Unless you've changed something on the setup. If you changed a servo then you must set the limits again. Just a couple of ideas for you to look at.

Interesting...

I wonder why my other 2 systems function normally.

I have compared the setups in the other 2 GV1's and there appears to be no diff and I am not using any Mix...??

I have the same problem as you. I recently dumped the TT Ace RC Governor and changed to a GV-1 to work with my 7C. I only have 1 spare channel so I used it for Governor on/off. I was surprised too when Throttle Hold doesnt work when Governor is On. So I guess in an emergency like tail rotor failure, I have to remember to hit the Governor Off first, then Thottle Hold.

This is a setup issue. The governor should recognize the throttle servo position and turn off when in T-hold condition.

Try redoing your calibration/limits setup. Also check that your throttle end points are within a +/-10% of 100%.

Enable StSW so that the GV-1 will drop offline at low throttle values, and then hold will work like a champ.

As I said a couple of posts ago Also with StSw activated yu don't need to plug in the ON/OFF lead as a se[erate channel. If you set all three speeds to below 1000rpm the GV-1 doesn't activated so you can set the motor and curves (if you want) before setting the required RPM.
