| With all the politically charged threads going, one thing has come to the point of driving me bananas. A lot of posters are arguing their positions with grandiloquent, carefully thought out replies. The one problem is many of you completely obliterate your own pretentiousness when you fail to differentiate between 'lose' and 'looser'. So here is the lesson of the day
________is a loser.(insert your candidate of choice.) THIS IS CORRECT.
________is a looser. THIS IS NOT CORRECT AND MAKES YOU APPEAR HALF-WITTED.
lose= to misplace something
loose= hooker on the corner
