He's been a long time poster on here. I never did care for his arrogance or his predictable responses of halfwit, Wrong! and the like but he was enjoyable to talk with on issues other than religion and politics.

Here's something interesting, the people getting locked and greyed out (Lou, Brovic, Gimbal) are all in the sack for Obama. Hmmm... Maybe it's because they can't defend their savior and have to resort to personal attacks rather than prevent facts (or claim to have at some point in the past ala Gimbal).

Gimbal is an intelligent person that so happens to disagree with a lot of the people on this forum. While it seems that the R/c helicopter world supporters of McCain are definately NOT the minority, let me remind you that nation wide that is a different case.

It's kinda sick that people are going to be glad he's been silenced, but sheeple will insist on censoring themselves, and be happy for it.

It was not Gimbal's disagreements with folks here that got him booted.

It was his very nasty style of doing the same. Thats not censorship. Thats just common sense by the forum owners.

Don't you think it would be a better forum if people responded with facts and not just insults and answers like Wrong! ?

You and I disagree all the time. Yet we don't get nasty. The people I have seen getting locked have a habit of insulting others.

Disagreements are great, it is how we learn. But personal attacks instead of debate? Not needed.

Respect is a huge issue, There are ways to disagree without disrespecting others.

No, I think many people do it. The difference IMO is people who make it a habit and act like it is a legitimate debate tactic, vs. the once in a while, "What are you stupid?"
