| I was doing some radio swapping around last night and found my Futaba 9VHP went south. The rudder function would only give movement in one direction. In the other I had little to none. I tried resetting the entire parameters but no luck. I know it wasn't a servo problem since this was happening on ALL 6 models I have on this radio.
I ended up ordering a Hitec Eclipse with the spectra module so I can at least use the receivers I currently have. Plus I've been looking at getting one of these lately anayway. I could have went with the 9C but I think I'll get one of those in a year or so. I'm hoping Hobby Services can still fix the 9V. It really is a great radio even though it's 10 years old.
I'm damn glad I found this out before I went flying with the raptor 60. I have been having some odd things going on with the tail lately and this is probably what was the cause of that.
It just goes to show you it's always something
