This sounds like a dumb question but what the heck, I'm going to ask it anyway. Is there a scorpion that'll work with 6s, then allow a step up to 8 or 10s with just a pinion change?

I'd like to replace the stock align 100a 6s max with a cc hv 85, and upgrade the motor as well. I figure I can get decent $ for my new align stuff if I trade up while new...

The HK-4025 890kv will do you for 6-8s and the 740kv will do you for 8-10s but you could get away with running the 890kv on 10s you would just have to keep an eye on the bearings. That motor on 10s with a 11 or 12T pinion would be sick!
