I installed a new motor just two flights ago. Had a crash after the first flight. Put the Trex back together and went out last night to check the blade tracking, etc. Found out that one of my servos was bad so I just barely got it light on the skids. Only put about 5 minutes on it. So I brought it home, swapped the servo, and then put throttle-hold on my radio before I plugged in the Trex battery. I checked out the new servo and all the other ones to make sure everything was working fine. Then I took it off throttle-hold but the engine didn't run. I tried everything but couldn't get it to run. I don't get the tones either. All the servos work fine. Any ideas as to why it doesn't run tonight but ran fine yesterday? I'm at a real loss about this. This is the second motor that has stopped on me in the last month. I've replaced the ESC. Using Align ESC and motor. Futaba receiver and Futaba servos. Gy 401.

Are you remembering to initialize the esc at low throttle? If the throttle stick isn't at the low position the esc won't arm.

Swap the motor out for another to test it. I'm also thinking the ESC could need to be replaced. I remember an Ace ESC that I had that would power the receiver but not the motor.

Check that stuff.
