For the purposes of this crash I didn't include replacing CF boom supports because they didn't break. But, had they it would have been a wash because I have them on my 50 as well, as do most guys. It's a common upgrade for most people and the cost is the same between my 90 and 50. For that mattter the quality of the ones in the P-Max kits is superior to what you get aftermarket and slightly cheaper. They don't shatter easily because I have had five crashes with them and they are rigid enough to keep my torque tube alive.
Along those lines you could make alot of other comparisions like blades. For instance....
50 size:
RotorTech CN266001 600mm CF $99.95
90 size:
RotorTech CN267201 720mm CF $129.95
Tail blades are the same price. So, were talking $30 difference here on blades. But, geez.....at some point you gotta think "It's a freakin 90 were talking here" and that $30 difference is well worth it. |
