| I use 81s on my 450. I switched from HS65s well over a year ago and I love how they perform. I have had too many crashes to count and I still haven't stripped one. I even managed to wreck it so hard once that it stripped the splines on the servo arm but the servo itself was still fine!! Tons of torque and plenty of speed. Even without the bearing, they aren't very sloppy after all of this time (and abuse).
The only problem is you have to modify the frame quite a bit to make them fit. You also have to completely split the frames to get them in and out. It is well worth the hassle IMO. |
