JR Heli Vibe - Airskipper - Sylphide - Venture > Vibe 50 not very happy

OK well I mistakenly got a vibe 50 a few months back and have only 2 flights on it as of today. Been flying my 700 most the time a 600NSP. And you guys say the 2mm G10 frame is stronger than the CF frame of a 600 you are wrong. And as for quality I am sorry I am not liking my Vibe 0 at all. Align is much better I must say. I was flying my Vibe for flight # 2 today and am breaking motor in. And I am in a hover about 5-10 feet up. Thats it just a low hover as I am breaking in motor. Well any ways Its hovering and next thing I know. Poof. The tail blades fly off. It went into a spin and I hit TH and did not have much head speed so it cam down but not to hard at all.

Any ways Damage is unreal. Broken 1 skid
All 4 break a ways for canopy mounts are broke
Looks like tail boom broke inside frame
Tail hub that holds grips and blades on tail brake on both sides. The shaft broke right off in flight. What the heck is that about
The Top stabilizer on tail broke??? Who knows how that broke
Canopy has a few dents where it hit the frame

I must say this heli is not holding up at all. At least with my 600 in a bad auto I may have to worry about some skids and that is it.

Look out for tail blades or whole tail blowing apart. I see another guy who's tail boom broke in flight. Not very happy with the quality of this heli at all. I must say my 600 NSP is way better. The Vibe dose track better and is not all over like the 600 but the 600 is for sure a better heli. I have never had anything come off the 600 and I have a lot of flights on it with 0 problems.

Has any one else had this problem with the tail blowing apart?? I may just fix it all as its not that much and sell it if its going to fall apart in flight like that?????

And this was not at all a build problem. The feathering shaft broke at both sides. I will take some pics of it and post very soon

Sorry dude I dont buy your story...

How can you tell if your vibe teacks better than the 600N ? you say it was your 2nd break in flight? right?

as far as tail blades blowing off it aint gonna happen on a rich break in flight unless you break in your motor running a 2300rpm headspeed....

sounds like it had a bad viberation and shook itself into breaking..

as far as one heli being better than another.. well that has been beat to death...

smells like something else is cooking (IMO)..

Ill give you 200 for the broken remains....

No

I am telling the truth. I will post pics very soon. The heli was flying great for about 1 tank. It flies very good I must say but why at such low head speed would it just break off. I see many post about this happening and is there a fix? So it dose not happen again? I will post pics very soon. And it was at low head speed. That is why I could not auto it from 10 feet. I have 2 people that were watching it at the same time and could not believe it. So has any one else tail hub just blow apart at low HS. Motor is just where it needs to be and the blades are perfect in track as that was what I was doing in 1st flight getting everything in track.

OH

And it was tail blades and grips. Whole hub blew apart. And this heli dose fly better than the 600. I said that. But as far as it blowing apart on 2 flight???? Build went over it and all is as it should be. Blades are spot on and I had no vibrations or humming every one talks about. The pics of my tail blades are over 1 year old and I just got done building them and took pics of them. I did not even try to fly them like that. Like no one has never done that but caught it faster than I did. I was very tired after building 2 birds could you tell?

Any ways What would be a good fix and yeah I sell you the remains for $200 just send in Pay Pal and I will sell you the battered remains all you want.

... just curious, but I thought you said in this thread you have 8 gallons through your Vibe?? http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t461861p1/

Talk about a smooth tail. All in all a great heli. I have about 8 gal through her now and still going strong. Just ordered a second one and building it now

I guess we will have to weed through your BS in the Align forum and the JR forum now

and all of your Vibe 50/Trex 600 comparisons in this thread are obviously BS since you only have 2 flights on it despite what you said in this thread

Sorry, but I hate to see bad info being passed around this forum and you seem to be full of it.
