As I had a problem with my Align 2 in 1 Unit, therefore installed a JR switch in between the 2 in 1 unit and the receiver. Therefore at least I’ll be able to switch down my electronics. Below are the pictures. What do you say about this setup?

I think it will be better to connect, battery, switch and then the 2 in 1 unit.

Or replace the original switch with the JR switch, maybe you can solder it.

Or if U are using 8717´s go 8 volts direct and buy a JR dual output regulator.

I'm already using a volt regulator for the gyro and 8900G servo, and ya 8717's all round. Is it safe to run at 8717 at 8 volts?

Alright then i'll run everything at 8 Volts and I'll keep keep the align 2 in 1 unit only for glow start. Hows that.

Well I proposed running them at 8 volts so you can get read of the align 2 in 1 regulator, but if your intension is to keep the 2 in 1 beter fix the switch.

But connect battery first then switch then the 2 in 1 regulator.

The regulator consumes electricity so you will empty your battery even if your system is off, just connect the switch in between battery and 2 in 1 regulator.
