Radio - JR & Spektrum DSM > 9303 'lever' knobs accessable?

Can someone tell me if the 9303's rotating levers can be directly sent to a servo/channel? I have a need for a radio with a knob (basically like a 5th stick axis). My old Optic 6 had two of them, but my new DX7 doesn't, so I'm looking at the 9303 as an upgrade.

I read through the manual, but can't find any references to the levers in there.

I don't know if it's covered in the manual, but in the Device Select menu, you can define what those levers do. I have used one for moving a servo.

The one on the right is directly set to a channel (Aux 4 I believe) and the left one is used as a trim. But that one can also be mapped to a channel using PMixes.

Like Mark says, use the DevicesSel menu to enable/disable and assign them (more or less).

The levers are referenced in the 'AIR" section of the manual, as that is what they are more or less intended for.

You can, and I did, map the left side AUX3 for my SWITCHGLO.
