I am just switching to the DX7. used futaba for years we had little plug guides to make sure wire went which direction.. OK which way is correct on the dx7 or JR . or basically where should the black wire be. toward center of RX or to out side of RX?.. I'm having problems binding then when I think I have it bound I cant get any servos to work on trex..

yes I'm using bind plug in battery location. I plug it all in turn on TX everything looks like it binds then I have no light on back of TX.
I have all batteries on charge just to make sure.. TX was at 9.9 rx battery. your guess is as good as mine.. may be below 4.8

Plug one in and move it, if it doesn't move turn it around, they only work one way and they won't hurt anything if they are backwards. Then plug the rest of them in the same way. If I remember correctly the black wires go towards the top (label side) of the receiver.

The receiver is marked with a - for ground and a music note looking thing for signal, the signal being the white wire.

I got it.. black wire to out side edge of RX..also got all the ccpm working correctly and leveled.. all I got to do is tail and gyro and go fly... I hope. it never seems to be easy
