Hey Guys, I installed my head and arms as per the manual, but the manual does not (as far as I can see) describe the different setup possibilities of those two arms. Can anyone elaborate - and what is your preferred setup?

/Henrik

BTW: FABULOUS flying machine, my T600 went out the door last week!!

Download the Avant programable head manual. Its basically the same design (except for the blade grips multiple positions) and explains in great detail what does what.

Good Luck.

Tony

OK Tony, thanks, will do. But what do people fly with? Default setup or "super" setup and is the difference in flying capability big?
Also is there a big change if I go from stock paddles to V-blade CF paddles?

At the end of the day it's all down to personal preference and getting the right feel from the heli. Just like some fly with no exponential and max rates and others use lots of exponential and lower rates

Change the mixing arm settings, go fly and see if you prefer it

The v paddles will speed up the cyclic response from the stock paddles. Again bolt them on and fly to see if you prefer it

But only change one thing at a time, otherwise you won't know what effect it had

I use V paddles.

YOu can mess with it and try what you like. G-force is selling some improoved mixing arms that allow you to go even further (more holes). Very nice in my opinion.
