Anyone else have this issue, is there a fix? Heli barely has 3 gallons on it.

Have you crashed it?
It happened to me, but I crashed and I had to replace every piece. Someone told me that was the clutch bell and it wasn't .
In my opinion, but I could be wrong, the problem is where the pinion sits in the bearing.
Good luck,

Ae

No, its never been crashed. Does your pinion fit snug into the bearing. Mine doesnt, its actually loose fitting.

Are you talking about it wobbling when the engine isn't in it? I can make mine rock back and forth when the engine isn't in it, and have since it was new, but with the engine in it's solid.

That is the problem. It needs to be tie. You even need to put loctite on it.

Mine has locktite on it, in fact, without heat it can't be pulled apart. I'm not sure where the play comes from, it's not the pinion in the bearing on mine, perhaps it's the bearing in the block. At any rate, it's smooth with no vibes, so it doesn't seem to be causing any issues.

Eury, I would like to be like you and not be picky. But It was a problem for me to see a new helicopter doing that. It enough to see the main gear wobble.

Ya, I have been flying it like this for awhile I guess, because Im sure it didnt happen overnite. It doesnt wobble alot when the engine is in, but it does a little. I dont seem to notice any problems as I would guess it center as soon as the clutch shoe opens up. Still though, Im a picky person, and now that I know about it, it will drive me nuts.

Yours may wobble more than mine, mine doesn't wobble at all once the start shaft is keyed into the clutch. It sounds like yours is doing it with the engine in.

OK, I just took the time to tear my whole clutch block/clutch assembly out of my Vibe. On mine the wobble is coming from the bearing that holds the pinion, not the pinion in the bearing. The bearing itself has a tiny bit of play between the inner and outer races and that's amplified when you get all the way out to the clutch bell itself. I'll get a new bearing tomorrow and reassemble it tomorrow to see if it goes away.

Now I just need to find a 10x19x7mm bearing. Not a particularly common size.

I got the wobble also. Seems that I forgot to loctite it or it wasn't snug fit. Result the upper pinion wore and no loctite will glue it against the bearing again so I'm waiting a new pinion.

Anyway, wonder if is a problem at all once the clutch engage I don't have the wobble.

Older guys at my field told me that many helis share the same problem. The clutch bell system of the T600N is better IMO, but it doesn't fly like a Vibe

Ink, you know I fly on Wednesdays, if I don't source it locally, all I'll have to fly today is a Craptor 50! Can't let that happen.
