I have a new blade 400 3D and this is my first heli since moving up from a CX2 coaxial. My problem is that when i first took it off the ground it immediately cuts hard left and hit a pole (this thing is fast). I dont know if it was like this before or not but when i plug the battery in I hear a whine like the motor at low rpm...when i move the right stick all the way to the left or all the way down the whine stops. Is this my gyro counter adjusting or something?

those symptoms sound very much like servo being loaded. try disconnecting the motor and checking that all the servos centralise when the sticks are in the middle, you may find that one is loaded towards one way and may need to have the servo horn rotated so it is central

try putting finger on each horn of each servo and apply slight pressure. you might make that hum more pronounced.
