The helicopter is already set up in the DX-7, but prefer to use the 9303 as the master TX.

Can I copy the model programming from the DX-7 to the 9303 and how?

Apparently it is quite esay to go from 9303 to 9303, but don't know about DX-7 to 9303.

Thanks for your help.

I got a helicopter for my girlfriend,
It was a good trade!

Hi

There is no way to copy the setup.

Both being 'JR'....you can just go through each page on the DX7 and set the same on the 9303. The only issue is on the pitch and throttle curves, the 9303 has more points. The top middle and bottom are the same, just the intermediate points need some guess work....or math. I just make the curves look the same and don't care about the numbers.

Rebind and you are away. Should take about 10 min.

It sounds like you're only interested in doing this for using the 9303 in a buddy-box situation. But you don't need the two Tx settings to match in order to use the 9303 as a buddy box slave.

Just set the DX7 trainer menu into P-Link and the 9303 will work without any adjustments.

Hi guys

Yes. If you set the DX7 as P-Link master and the 9303 as slave, you don't need to do anything.

The only thing.....I like the 9303 as master because the 'trainer' switch is easier to hold and i like to teach people holding there own radio. There is a 3rd issue with me....i fly mode 1 so need to hold my own radio!!!

Exactly.

Want to use the 9303 as the master, not the DX-7.

Do you know what you have to hold on the DX-7 as the trainer switch? The little switch on the face of the radio up top.

I don't think they could have made it any stupider if they tried!

That's exactly how we use it.....

The original question was how to get the programming from the DX7 to the 9303. But we figured it out.

I had a similar question. I have a JR 7202 FM radio right now and I am planning on getting a JR 9303 2.4Ghz this winter. Is there a copy method for that?

You can only copy between like models (ie: 9303 -> 9303). Otherwise you'll get to enjoy programming that new 9303 with the thumbwheel (which is really quite easy).

PLUS you will get to learn the 9303 by setting it up. If you were able to copy it, you wouldn't get the experience. Its like building your own heli. and you will love this radio BTW.
Chopper crazy, look into Todds Models, sign up on the website (register) and you will get 15% off the top, and if you can, wait until just before or just after Christmas. Best deals of the year I think. Got mine for 532.00 (your not needing the servos, just the receiver and radio I think)

Yup just checked, 529.00 right now with the team discount (registration is all that is required)
