I changed a few parts in my head, Flybar, paddles, main shaft, main shaft bearings. and now have a pretty intense vibration at 1740 or 1750 on the headspeed. It's obviously something I did, but the tracking is perfect and it runs super smooth right up to that RPM..then starts shaking.. less so with hard climbout ..ie loaded blades. But pretty bad in the hover, actually scared me! Any ideas where to start??

Vibration (as in tail fin buzzing) or wiggle/wobble?

Major wobble in specific RPM can be how tight the blades are in the grips, or dampers.

wiggle wobble.. bad!! kinda like you seen when you spin up for the first time until the blades get striaght.. only difference is its super smooth from idle to 1730 or so.. then the dance begins.. scared me at first and I almost dropped the tx going for the T/H switch.

No, but they are NHP 600 carbons.. didnt think you had to balance carbons? Wouldnt that effect all RPM's also?

I did not change the dampers.. they are original, about 1.5 years old.. but only 2.5 gallons thru them. How do I know if they are worn out?

Check every pair of blades you use for balance, carbon or not

Check the flybar and paddles to see if they're as they should be etc.

put new ones in anyway oil and fuel gets on them and makes them brittle over time.
