Flybarless Rotor Head Systems > V-bar and 14mz callibration problem?

Hi,
I have the new V-bar and I'm using Futaba 14mz and r5014 rx. When all the triming and sub triming in the TX are "0", the V-bar Tx callibration of the Elevetor, Ailron, Radder and Pitch shows +7%. When the sub-trim in the TX is -45 the V-bar cllibration software shows its on "0".
Is this normal?
Shuld I use the Sub-Trim in the TX?
Thanks, Eran.

I am using the SK 360 flybarless unit with my 14MZ . I found something very similar . I'm not familiar wth the VBar set up but I used subtrims to get the centre values to 0 with the SK 360 . I then adjusted the endpoints to get 100% in all directions .

You don't need sub trim for Ail, Ele, or Rudder. The Vbar will zero out any subtrim at start up just like any heading hold gyro. Mikado says to use the calibration menu to check channel direction.

I'm still playing with pitch subtrim because I've already setup my servo arms. Pitch is not used to control any of the 3 axis' on the heli. Any sub trim on pitch channel will affectively move the pitch of the blades when the tx stick is at the center position. This will also affect the value set in the Zero Collective on the TAIL menu.

Don't use any subtrim and setup the heli as the instructions indicate in the section called VStabi Setup - Your first setup - Initial Setup.

So when I look at the Live menu the rc input shuld not be around "0" when all the radio sticks are centered?
(When I don't use sub-trim the rc inputs are about 95 in the roll, elevator and rudder.)
Thanks, Eran.

There is actually a new setup screen in the Vbar where you sync the transmitter to the VBar by using subtrim.

But No, you should NOT use subtrim to adjust live screen.

Make sure you have downloaded the latest version (they update versions without changing revision number on the site)

In the first screen you have a button for "guided" setup, dont know the name of right now, I can check when Im at a computer with the program later if you dont find it.
