Reddogracing New Heliman Location: elkton, ky - todd
| i didthe mast or i am guessing what your are saying main shaft was bent badly. I replaced it, and was actually able to hover around some. I could keep it in a 10 foot box. But after the blade damage it wont even lift of ground. It is stable enough, just isnt generating enough lift I geuss.
I am a real life helicopter mech.
What i dont know, is when i take the servos apart and regear them and put the new blades on, what adjustments i should make to ensure a good smooth hover, if that is possable. You know where is the nominal position for everything. I have a friend with experience, but i need to learn about it myself too. He made some adjustments before the crash to the paddles, and that made a big differance. I mean i watch utube and guys doing inverted hover better then mine can do regular.
And i also seem to have to put in a lot of trim.
I dont knnow yet how to use the knobs on the top for pitch control.
