I have a Triton 2 charger with a flightpower balancer. When I start the charge process I get a "error" open circuit message! What does that mean? ALso the battery is an outrage 30C 2200 battery. How should I charge this? 1C 2.2 amps at 11.1 volts????

OK I figured out it could be the balancer. When I plug the battery in directly to the charger it works fine. But now I cant balance. So what do you guys think the problem is?

the packs you are using,do they have a FP balance tab?and they are wired properly for that balancer?if not the balancer is not reading the pack properly, check that all connections on the balance tab,are good
,or the balancer and charger cant communicate

Are you holding the Reset/Hold button on the V-balancer until the link mode LED comes on after connecting the battery? If not, you should get an open circuit error when you start your charge.
