A million thanks for the fuel tubing reminder. During my Saturday night ritual of cleaning and inspecting before the Sunday get together, I pulled the fuel tank out to take a look at the tubing inside. Low and behold, it crumbled in my hand. The cracks that you see are from squeezing the tube. They are all the way through.




I know that all of you are tired of seing that piece of fuel tubing that looks like it has been through a fire as I was. But, please check it before you take your next flight! It only takes a second and you will be glad that you did

I don't think that line was the blue stuff. I think it was the clear stuff that comes with the tanks sometimes. But, I don't know, I bought this heli used. I think it is only a little over a year old though. I'm gonna check on this stuff every 6 months now. In any case I don't know how the heli was still flying. The tubing just crumbled in my hands
