| Basically once set up correctly it will allow the heli to do multiple piro's whilst keeping the helicopter level. The swash tilts a specific amount to achieve this. It also aids to piro's whilst in flight, if you didn't have it the heli would try and do a chao's!!
With the optimization the ball on the line is the nose of the heli. Centre the line, spin the heli through 90 degrees and the lin should match rotation. If not adjust the values so as it does. You are meant to do this upside down with the head off but I have found by getting three consecutive spins right just holding the head to work fine.
Make sure you get this right as it makes a huge difference to the flying style of the heli.
