Is this a good deal?

http://www.rchelicoptershop.com/cat...opter-p-53.html

I have a Blade CX, Blade CP Pro, Blade 400, T-Rex 500, and a nitro Shuttle ZXX. I fly them all, and am looking for something to fly in the house. Is the Honey Bee King a good heli? It looks a little big to fly inside, so let me know, as you can see and my wife says, I don't really need another heli.

Nice fleet.

My 2 cents:

What does this have that the Blade CP Pro doesn't have, in respect to flying in the house?

Do you want something smaller and safer with foam / plastic blades?

This would offer a brushless motor.

And I THINK, better equipment.

Safe....now that's funny. I can fly. Just the CP is not great in the house, mostly because of the tail thing. The CX just isn't that much fun anymore. The Blade 400 is fun, but the wife freaks out when I do it in the house, to be honest it's is a little big for my little house.

The video you showed the size I would like, I assume it's a belt driven tail?

What is it? if you haven't already told me.

It's NOT the EP200. As in the link I sent you!

It's an EP100. I like it fine. I have "safe foam blades".

The Quark looks good too.

guai ep100 is perfect indoor copter. PITA to work on tiny aluminum screws! i wish they use tiny allen's instead.

Thanks, and I wasn't meaning anything about "safe". God knows I've hit many things in my house with the CX blades, just the blades break before whatever I hit. And with safe, I can drink and fly.

I was hoping to pay less than $200 for it, but from your video, the extra might be worth it, as it seems very stable.

As you know, brushed motors are a PITA and the cost adds up going cheap.

The EP200 link I sent you is a good price. You WILL need a RX.

for me,

EP100 Pro $200 Came with brushless motor
Servos $80
Gyro $90
AR6100 $50
Battery $30
ESC $30

I fly mine EVERY DAY in the winter.

I have a $90 G90 gyro. Adequate. Not as good as my 401's.

Thanks for the info, I've watched your video a few times. It might be worth the extra money. Yea, I love the 401, but seems like it might be a little over kill for an inside heli. Not planning on 3-D living room flying, but you never know.

Now you are making me rethink things.

I really thank you for the help. I'll trade you my CP for it.

If you get the EP100.

The foam blades tend to snap off.

Use guitar picks in the grips to re-enforce them at the top.. See my gallery.

Also, with an AR6100, I got static resets until I started spraying my belt with silicone.

I see you have a 500 too, have you had any static problems with it. I got mine about a month ago, had 25-30 packs through it with no problem and haven't done any mods. Mine is the GF version. It's still in the back of my mind everytime I try anything new close to the ground. And nice fleet too. How do you like the 700?
