| Okay, I now know the reason for the new tail boom clamp number for the 400. The new 400 booms do not have the cut out at the end of the boom. These cutouts on the logo 10 booms snugged against the small 1/2 round piece of plastic inside the tail boom clamp.
Instead the 400 booms have a hole on the side of the boom and that matches to a round piece inside the tail boom clamp.
Since I didn't order the 400's tail boom clamp, I used the logo 10 boom and cut it to the 318mm. Works fine. I think the new arrangement on the 400 is more of a secure was of preventing the tail boom clamp from rotating on the boom.
